I saw several articles on the net one day whilst doing reserch for university and it got me thinking. Is a real life 'saiyajin' look possible?
Using the cloneing practice that has recently been created muscle tissue can be grown in a long 'tail' skin cells grown around it to form a 'sausage'. Like the tongue it wouldn't need a large network of nerves, allowing the fairly easy use of a electro-neuron converter. The skin cells would all contain modified DNA, the gene for fur growth incerted into the strand in place of the human hair gene.
To attach it to the body, simply snip of the end, cut a circle out of the skin of the person and attach. The motor and mini 'brain' to move it being set under the skin.
Alternativly new nerves could be grown and implanted.
Of course it won't work, but it makes you think just how far humans are going to change the way we are.
Scared yet?
